You have a talent for these minor character studies - you give them a very slice-of-life feel that works great for introspection. I love how you filled in details from Yun-sensei's life outside of go, like his family, and surrounded his thoughts with details of the plane ride (which rang quite true!)

Argh, I thought I had commented on this! Stupid firewall at work...

All of your bg fics were excellent character studies, but this one was the one I liked the best. :) Your details about the flight were really vivid and subtly revealing about who the POV character was. But you didn't tell us who that actually was until halfway through the fic, which I really liked. Yay for you!
