today was a good day. belly didn't break down in tears from her migraine and my dad came home from yet another procedure on his tongue. at least now we know he's cancer free. all that's left is to get him healthy and healed enough for rehab and a few years of clean screening ( Read more... ) -

it was sunny today and I didn't have to devote the day to neglecting the kids and painting the house. although I did think about doing the eaves, but quickly dismissed it knowing that it would mean tiptoeing on the last run of the 16 foot ladder. the eaves just might wait until spring. we are moving so slowly on home repairs this summer. I hope we get it all done in time before the weather changes. I am eager to get the house painted. maybe today I will get a chance to power wash it and get it ready for painting when we have a few days of clear skies. painting in a rainforest is quite precarious. -

I am anxious. 6 o'clock can't come soon enough. I would feel better if I wasn't focused on trying to find the stupid camera battery. How the frack did I lose it 2 days before going on vacation. I am such a doofus sometimes.

my nose is stopped up and running at the same time. how is that even possible?
can't wait for bran to come home so i can head back out to the glacier. hopefully the nothern lights haven't called it quits by then and i remember all my camera goodies so i can actually take some decent pictures. -

A trip to the er slowed progress but we got most of the cabinets installed. Now to hook up the ice maker on the fridge and install the countertops we'll be halfway done. I hope we are able to get the kitchen at least sorta functioning tomorrow since bran goes out if town on tues for a few days and that will make for a long week without access to ( Read more... )
