My hotel room in Peoria, IL doesn't have channels like Lifetime or Disney, but it gets NHK. Weird and random. It's really disorienting hearing Japanese coming from the TV that I didn't download.

That's... rather strange. NHK > Lifetime, though, so. There's that.

I'm assuming you're there for an interview. If that isn't the case, you can ignore this, but if not, I hope it goes well and that you completely rock it. Stand out in the best possible way :D

On further inspection, I did find Lifetime. But I didn't get Comedy Central, which made me sad.

Yup, I was there for an interview. And I think I stood out a lot by just being a US MD grad and an long-time Illinois resident with connections to Peoria. I think they liked me.
