What a perfect visualization of The Scene. You've got a real knack for getting inside of Scully's head and keeping her balanced between her hard, rational side and her romantic one.

I might just have to write a companion piece to this, from Mulder's perspective.

Thank you! I have to admit, Scully is the character that I still occasionally feel intimidation about writing because there's just so much to her, and because I didn't watch the show as it was airing, like I've been able to do with House, I worry sometimes about whether or not I'm doing her justice. I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

You did a great job of writing Scully here. Writing from her perspective always intimidates me, but when I get it right it's an exhilarating thing. She's such a complex, introspective character!
