I'm sorry for you! I love my pets! Last year i lost my 10 year old Shar-pei she dog, her name was Saori, i called her Zauza... and my beloved 17 year old cat, Maria. It broke my heart and it's still hard to think about them!

That black cat...call him Severus and the grey one, Malfoy! And pretend they are your pets, feed them, talk to them and they will appreciate it and if i know cats...they are already looking at you, watching you and think what a wonderful pet you might be....

*Are you sure they are not wizards transfigurated??*

Aww, that's so sad. :( My Dane is 7..so he's getting old (for a Dane) and it makes me sad. :(

If the black cat were thinner I might call him that. And the gray one is too skittish for a Malfoy.

They may very well be disguised wizards. What they want with me though, I have no idea. :P

You poor thing. We've always had pets around, and I can't imagine not having a dog underfoot or a bird waking me up at 6:00 am or a cat ignoring me from across the room.
Perhaps Condescending Cat will deign to inhabit your lowly place of residence soon. In the meantime, have fun with your vegetation. ;)

I'm afraid someone else belongs to Condescending Cat. Which is just as well, because really, I think he would kill me in my sleep. The looks this cat gives me...*shudder*

Thanks! I'm going to start collecting more vegetations throughout the summer bc, as the plant lady at work says, "This is California! Stuff blooms all year round!" :D

I think plotting to kill one in one's sleep is pretty normal for most cats. At least the one's I've had the pleasure to know.

Lucky you having plants year-round! My bleeding hearts are already starting to lose their blooms, though my peonies have some lovely buds. I don't know if they'll bloom before we leave though. Are you planning on sticking mostly to ferns and greenery, or are you going to get some more flowering plants?

Well ideally, I want some flowering plants. But I need to rip up the whole front yard, as that's where the sunshine is. Right now I need things that do well in the shade and I didn't have time or money really to look for flowering/shade liking plants yesterday. Although, that "wizards mix" really is very colorful. I got three in two planters. One of the planters had a light, almost neon-ish green, and a dark red/green rimmed leafy plants, and the other was a dark green, with red tints in the middle.

But yeah, the goal is to have a full flowering garden.
