ok, so i've made a sort-of battle plan with the asahiya issue. so far i have emailed kinokuniya. here was their response regarding special orders:

i didnt know they had an Illinois store, but i will ask about them too. when i went to asahiyausa.com or whateve they only had listed ny n 3 calis. will check

idk atm. im headed to asahiya in 3 days 2 see if at least i can get this months cheese from there. while im there i'll have to ask about my options. if i can still go through asahiya and its speedy, then i will. otherwise we might have a prob.
