[It was just as he had expected, no need to go looking any farther than his first hunch to find his other self. He's led Turkey and Greece out this way, though the path has been slow with him having some trouble walking, knowing full well what he was, essentially, getting himself into]

[Nods his head as he sets a heavy tree branch back in place, turning to the other two with a wry smile. He'd like to deliver a few blows himself, knows that his other self more than deserves whatever he gets, but he doesn't have to like the idea]

[Bows his head, stepping out of the way to let you get to it. Maybe he'll just settle himself up in one of these trees to watch from a better vantage point. And that way he's pretty sure to be within hearing distance too, if it comes to it, though he's not expecting he'll really be needed to take anyone down]

[Reaches down to tap Greece's head affectionately as he passes, already moving back and away. You can handle your kid's pee problems, he's gonna get to work scaling this tree]

[the reason there was no edge was because he didn't want to waste time to change the sword's direction, wanting something quick but impactful enough]

[takes that chance to push the kid aside, away from Spain. he considered for a moment to attack first, but doesn't want to risk having the kid used as a shield again]

[rolls off and immediately struggles to his feet, though the world is still spinning just a bit and how does Romano put up with doing this over and over every day]

[he'll start stumbling towards his spear, weaving back and forth as fast as he can]

[Well damn, his makeshift shield is gone and his head is still spinning too, this isn't looking very good. Raises a hand to his head, sitting back up but feeling a little dizzy just from that, trying to climb to his knees]

[At least his mind is finally moving in the right direction, arm reaching to his side and to his weapon, though they're shaky fingers that draw it out. He knows he's in an awful position right now and needs to change that, but how is the question]

[For now he's trying to avoid looking up at all, apparently somehow hoping if he doesn't meet Turkey's eyes he'll be given the time to pick himself up]

[if it was any other duel, he'd be telling him to get up and prepare himself. not out of some code of honor or anything, but just to rub it in]

[but now he has no time for that, as his main priority is to deliver painful enough blows to incapacitate him]

[as Spain's kneeling and avoiding eye contact, he thrusts the tip of the sword forward to stab the shoulder]

[he was expecting thrashing about as a reaction, so he pushes him into place and holds on, eyes never leaving his, either]

[but he doesn't have the patience to wait for him to stop hitting him. so maybe the sharp end of the sabre poking against his bare chest will convince him to stop]

...Are you gonna kill him now?

[That sharp tip doesn't have quite as much reaction as you'd like, but that's mostly because not much of anything is having a reaction right now. If anything he's starting to panic a bit more, probably digging the edge into his skin more than it needs to, but the grip on his throat is too much and he can't draw enough air to calm himself back down]

[Fortunately his thrashing can only last as long as his air supply, and it's only a little longer before his hits lose their force and he starts sagging down, too lightheaded to keep it up]

[he laughs a little through his gritted teeth at the sight of fear and panic. he's not answering the kid because he's considering the options. his grip has loosened a bit though, not due to lack of effort, but because of the damage inflicted upon the muscle]

[maybe he could hurt him on a different level now that he's helpless]

[has no idea what either of you are talking about now, and wishes they could all just go home cause he's still feeling a bit sick and uncomfortable from the fight and from thinking about things going up butts]

[but because he's watching instead of playing in your pissing game, he's able to catch Spain's gaze]

[steps forward in concern, maybe he should steal pick that up before it can be used in a harmful way]

[If Greece had been a little quicker acting than thinking about it he probably would have been too late in getting to his weapon, but now that he knows what he wants he's quick to act, reaching out for the handle of his sword with his left hand and pulling it to him. Better watch out, Greece, stepping forward like that just brought you closer]

[It seems like he's decided to go the route of pretending it never happened, even if the suggestion of it is enough to have him flushing in anger and embarrassment]

[He's clenching the sword tightly now, and as you are so close he won't even bother standing back up before he makes his first strike, lashing out at your legs]

[hearing that actually makes him resolve to drag Spain back to his house]

[the attack catches him by surprise, as he was he wouldn't dare to seriously resist in this condition, while using his non-dominant arm]

[he does jump back, again as if attacked by a serpent, but not before Spain's sword slices through the flesh of his own thigh]

[...after processing what he said, it takes him no more than a couple of big steps to get close to, near enough to reach and grab the back of his hair]

[yanks back hard, trying to make him lose balance and fall back]

[he wasn't prepared for an attack, and the shove knocks him off his feet]

[lands hard, curling up to protect himself from any followup attacks]

[Nope, there won't be any followup attacks from him, though really he doesn't see what the big deal is with a little shove. It wasn't even that hard]

[Making him lose balance right now is hardly difficult, though he snarls the whole way down, trying to scratch at the hand grabbing his hair. He first catches himself on his knees, trying not to be thrown fully down, but with his injured leg he ends up crumpling to the side anyway]

Just leave me be...

[He tried to shout it, but his body can't keep up with his anger and it ends up coming out more a whimper than anything terrifying]
