And I just...I in no way think that every priest is amazing or anything, but the utter over-simplication of that remark made me so mad! It's hardly an easy path to priesthood in TEC, and nearly every priest I've met is a thoughtful and critical thinker - I don't always agree with them, but I can't imagine anyone who's just wandering blithely through ritual getting through the discernment process let alone being ordained!
