Either I'm just a big baby or I did a really good job today at the gym.  Either way, I'm going to hurt so much tomorrow.  It's 2.5 hours after I stopped lifting weights and my arms and chest STILL feel jello-y.  Like I picked up my water bottle without thinking and almost dropped it because it was too heavy.

I'm kinda disappointed that I'm not ( Read more... )

Thank you. They seem to be doing well - just worried about friends who didn't leave the coast.

And thank you also for your good wishes. I shall do my best. ;)

I think you are just a big baby :) though killer props for actually working out. this sad panda doesn't even have a gym membership anymore.

HA. I'll accept that. The Anna got me hooked on the whole working out thing. And there's a gym across the street from my work. So it's fairly easy to get to and hard to avoid.

I think us girls have days were we can be babies when it comes to working out. I know I have my days. But it is good to been able to have the will to workout and keep up with it.

Hope all is well with your family.

I just talked to my aunt. :) She and my uncle and their cats are safe, but their house probably has been hurt or is gone. They're not going back to the coast for a few days yet.

And yeah, continuing to workout is always the issue. I'm so bad at consistency. lol I shall keep trying though. ;)

Very true. But it's funny running the next day and feeling one's pecs hurt because muscles which were turned to jello the day before are moving. I was just surprised that they were so jello-y. I only moved up the weight on two exercises and everything else was pretty normal. Ah well, it works.
