Slightly belated...but...sorry to hear about your gramma....that kinda makes two of us (see my LJ for more info). On the happy side, the geneaology thing is COOL!! I've been trying to trace mine, but its not easy when none of them are in the US... :P
Hmmm...a taste of Leah's writing from her LJ... Well, Jeanette, if you read this, ALL of this and REALLY read it. You would have discovered that I do NOT need a fucking psychiatrist I need a FRIEND! Someone that you were NOT! I have spent probably 400 dollars on you, and what do I get, a $20 ticket and 5 dollars for lunch from Friday. I'm sorry, but you're turning into Kristen. And we ALL know what happened to her. So before you say "there's only so much I can do" you better EXAUHST everything you can do before saying that.
Just remind your gramma that at least you're not single with a baby & no dad, on welfare with no job and have no place to live...except to bum off friends & family. Ok, maybe not really, but still. You're not old. You're not a maid. You're NOT an old maid. Remember, her times were a LOT different than ours.
Otherwise I'm glad you're having fun & got all that out of your lineage. Seriously, I kinda hope my kid(s) are into that because I hate history so much I wouldn't even go back through my own family. I am curious if I had anyone that fought in wars & stuff, but not enough to actually see. *sigh* Oh well. Hurray for you!
