Yes, I did it in the round. The instructions call for it to be knit flat and seamed, but I hate seaming with a passion. Hate it. So, with a couple small modifications, I started it in the round. Then I'll only have to seam up both ends.
My niece. She's turning two years old today, and her birthday party is on Saturday. Her mother and grandmother don't buy her books, and she doesn't have a bookshelf. I thought that was a shame, so my b-day present to her is going to be that bookshelf with about forty picture books I've been collecting at various used bookstores over the last three weeks. She loves books, but only has about ten, which are kept in a basket out of her reach.
There Will Be Blood is getting fandom love? I mean, I loved the movie beyond the telling of it (I'm a DDL Fangirl) but it didn't seem like the type of movie to have a fandom, exactly. Outside of all the "I Drink Your Milkshake" videos, I mean.
I haven't looked into it too much, but I thought there was some fiction running around. Being about 2 1/2 hours long, you wouldn't think I'd want it to continue much further, but I thought the ending was a bit abrupt. Anyway, I looked up the Milkshake videos and laughed my ass off this morning.

Did you knit the scarf in the round? I did a Gryfinndor scarf a couple of years ago, it took forever!
