I love, love, love Slings & Arrows! I am in the midst of complete love must watch every episode right now OMG and it is glorious. Just finished Season One which was awesome. I got pimped into the show at Vividcon wherein I learned that not only was it smart, all about Shakespeare and stars pretty Paul Gross, it's FUNNY. What I'm really loving about

Still really bored by and don't like Sam. My tolerance for assholes and their emo backstories has just gone way down.
See, I don't see him as an asshole, but many in the fandom can't shake their first impression of him. I just see him as a former soldier who was used to doing things a certain way, and is having trouble adjusting out of that. As for the way he is with Jules, I think it has become real sweet. The writers could have made him real annoying to show jealousy over Scott, but instead he showed concern for Jules and invited Scott to join them. Sure, he still treats Jules as if she is different, but I don't see it as him not thinking that she is equal, just that he got off on the wrong foot and doesn't know how to come back from that.

.... no matter what show it is, you and I always see the new guy completely different. LOL!

And just wait until you get to season 3 of Slings & Arrows! OMG SO GOOD!

Well it's true that he's not so much anymore but I still find him really boring. The military thing doesn't do anything for me nor does the pairing. It just seems like the girls always fall for his type and I'm getting a bit sick of it. Just not my type I guess. I wouldn't mind so much if there was more of my favorites!

It is! I am so, so glad I started watching. I didn't know if it'd be my type of show but it completely won me over without me being able to pinpoint exactly why I love it so much (besides Paul Gross).
