as i was walking home from work tonight, i noticed the sky and how beautiful it looked. everything was so clear, like crystal, yet it was cloudy at the same time. but the parts of the sky that were visible were so vivid and bright. i don't think i've ever seen the stars here as bright as they were tonight. and i remember as a little kid, looking up

Orion is such a comforting constellation. He's almost always visible, and quite easily reckognizable too. More so than Ursa major, and minor. And I'd have to say, that Orion is my favorite constellation. Being in the city, I miss the stars dearly.

we were out on the highway, away from the city, and it was really cool because you could see this glare in the distance (the city lights) and light up the the few clouds that were really low and the rest was crystal clear, it just made for a really really weird/cool effect (almost looked fake)... pretty neat night...
