supa star
as i was walking home from work tonight, i noticed the sky and how beautiful it looked. everything was so clear, like crystal, yet it was cloudy at the same time. but the parts of the sky that were visible were so vivid and bright. i don't think i've ever seen the stars here as bright as they were tonight. and i remember as a little kid, looking up and finding orion's belt and conversing with him, imagining him talking back to me. my guide in the night sky. i could never find the north star, but i could always find his belt. beautiful orion, my beacon in a jumbled, confusing universe.
work was good tonight. i really do have speaking problems, i totally stutter over words sometimes, but whatever. i'll deal. i guess lebron james and his posse came in tonight. i saw these wicked tall black guys come into the restaurant, i smiled, and thought "wow, all those guys are tall. they look like basketball players." and then about five minutes later i see them getting seating, and i thought, "wow, that's strange we have over an hour wait." a few minutes later, one of the hostesses was talking about how sports players and such always come into tcf when they have games in town and i was like "wait, who were those guys?" ding, ding, give the girl a prize. so then it all clicked and made sense. i kind of felt bad for them though because whenever i was over there seating someone or checking on tables there were always some skanky ass girls talking to them. i guess that's just the life of a supa star. anyway, the rest of the night was fun as well. some guy told me i had a nice ass and then was checking it out for the rest of the night, which was a little embarrassing, but whatever.
there is so much more that i want to write, but i think i'm just too drained, both physically and emotionally to do anything else but sleep. perhaps i will try tomorrow, although the mood will probably have passed.
