the thing that stops me is what stops me from everything. the thought that "what if it gets better here?" that and i have a lot of ties to this city at the moment that would be difficult to cut.

anyway, you can definitely try talking with your friend, but she probably won't do anything about it until she realizes herself that it's a one sided relationship and that she deserves better. relationships are tough like that.
