It's funny that the companion article (from the same author) to that graphic cites Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, and Faye Valentine as admirable strong female characters, but the graphic itself calls them out as 'Final Girl', 'Mama Bear', and 'the Wildcard' respectively. It even says explicitly that the 'Mama Bear' is not a strong female character in the blurb for the graphic, so Ms. Connor can't be one of those cited which 'represent more positive stereotypes'. It strikes me as hypocritical to chastise people for not knowing the difference between weak and strong female characters when the author can't even seem to agree with herself on the matter.
I took a glance and got pissed off very badly - especially since it implies that all else outside that single line that leads to 'strong female character' therefore isn't, and that's the terrible part, even if the character possesses traits that should be positive.
