I guess the chart-maker needs to learn the difference between "has an attribute" and "is defined by that attribute, to the exclusion of any other personality trait ever."
I don't deny that sexism informs the way female characters are created and presented, but this chart proves rather conclusively that it also informs the way they're received.
I think there's probably a good premise buried in there somewhere, but, ironically not unlike the stereotypical characters it's trying to decry, the chart is poorly realized and not well-thought-out.
Also, because I am a nerd, the character they have as the illustration of the Evil Woman Without A Family is Mom from Futurama. Who HAS A FREAKING FAMILY.
I understand the desire to point out how mainstream media is sexist and this is often reflected in the presentation of female characters in it, but...yeah. Making a chart that defines a vast myriad of ways in which female characters can Fail and including (inaccurate) examples is not a good way of going about it. Or, really, of doing anything but being flamebait.
