Penelope was glad that she was getting to meet some of Regulus' friends. Well, at least one of them. She eventually wanted to introduce him to Cedric, as she knew Cedric would be pleased to hear that she had chosen to get married and end her life as a courtesan. However, while she was still under Rabastan's contract, she did not want worrying about both her and Regulus, and also viewing Rabastan as a villain in the situation, when really he had not done anything wrong.

'Of course," she squeezed his hand a bit tightly, as she was a bit nervous. What if his friends didn't like her for some reason? What if they hated her for the fact she was a courtesan.

"Is this one of your Death Eater friends?"

Parvati was at home, going through her papers and trying to organize them into something she could keep track of. If there had been an owl or other communication from Regulus to announce his arrival, Parvati had long since forgotten about it during her organizational attempts ( ... )

Macnair was standing outside Parvati's hidden in the shadows of the her building. It was late. He was waiting for Parvati's lights to go out before he headed back to Gypsy Road. It had become his home. He even filed the paperwork to actually claim it as his own. It was a tedious process.

But it had been worth it.

He was now an official resident of Annwn. He could be here legally (not that it ever mattered to him what legal and what wasn't).

Tonight, Parvati was at home, working. She was filling out paperwork for what he could only assume was for the Golden Apple. She was determined to see this idea of hers through.

And he was determined to see her to the end. He wasn't going to leave her alone until he had her, until he conquered her. A few of her blinds were open and he could see her moving around. But she was smart enough to avoid the open blinds when she sat down to work on something.

Macnair grinned sadistically.

"No. I don't talk to too many Death Eaters here, really," Regulus said. The only Death Eater that he really spoke to on a regular basis was Barty, and he wasn't so much a 'friend' as 'that guy that occasionally breaks into my house and rearranges all of my furniture'.

He'd sent an owl ahead of them, so he figured Parvati should be home when they arrived. Though he'd been a little vague about why he was coming over, so he was a little nervous about springing all of this on her. But at the same time, he was still excited, and still dying for people to know about him and Penelope. So when they reached the house, he knocked the door with his free hand rather rapidly, both anxious and impatient and elated.
