\o/ Patriotism! I just relaised something! State of Origin! OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE ENEMY.
Isobelle Carmody! OH MY GOD I KNOW. The Stone Key or whatever was like, a thousand pages long and she didn't manage to finish the story! Gnah. Also she promised us Darkbane like, two years ago.
(She spoke at the Byron Writers Festival a few years back and she was so fabulous.)
You should ask me questions! :D

Oh noes! Does this mean we can no longer be friends? What if I don't even watch football, does that count for anything?
I KNOW, RIGHT? It was 995 pages long, for heavens sake. I mean, I love long books, love them love them love them, but does she have to wait four years between each books? I didn't even start to read that other series of hers, because I knew that it would be exactly the same thing as Obernewtyn - I'd get too attached and then morose when it's ages between installments. (She spoke at the Whitsunday Voices Literary Festival a few years back, and I only found out after it had been on. /o\)

And, despite the fact that I've never read anything by Isobelle Carmody, I think you have a nice spread of people, there. A president, a musician, and an author.
Interview me? (I'd ask for the first one, but I would struggle so, so much...if you feel like torturing me, I guess you could give three people to me?)

I do, don't I? Huh. Go me! You should read try to read some Isobelle Carmody! The first in the series is called Obernewtyn. It's really good, in my opinion anyway. Here's the Wiki link, but beware of spoilers. She's Australian, too!
