) Comment to this and I will give you 3 people.
2) Post this meme with your answers.
3) Provide pictures and the names of 3 people.
4) Label which you would marry, shag, and throw off a cliff.
lackofsound gave me Tyson Ritter, Victoria Asher, and Zac Efron. Clearly she knows my weaknesses are gorgeous, talented girls and musically inclined gay guys.
Since it was easiest, first up will be:
Cliff
Zac Efron
Look Zac, I love you a lot, I do. But just not as much as my bandom peeps. I'm sorry. D:
Shag
Victoria Asher
Vicky-T, you know how much I adore you. So, so much. In fact, so much so that I'm stealing
lackofsound's way of getting around this, and saying that the rules said nothing about sleeping with her only once. So nyah.
Marry
Tyson Ritter
I never recapped my AAR concert, did I? No, I didn't. Well then, most of you won't know that I bawled my eyes out when the Rejects were playing. Their entire set, except for the first and last couple of songs. I was just so overcome with emotion at finally seeing them, I guess. There is no way that I could not choose to marry Tyson. Never mind the fact that if I marry him, I practically marry his band, anyway. Four for the price of one! \o/
Second one:
001. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
002. I will respond by asking you ANY five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
003. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
004. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
005. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
doctor_denmark asked me:
1)What are the best and worst things about Australia?
The best things would be the laid back lifestyle, and that special Australian patriotism that only seems to spring up either on Australia Day, when you're at a sporting match or large public event, or if you're accused of being from New Zealand (or an other country). The worst things would be the heat during summer (in my town our top temp is like, 40C or 104F), and being so far away from everyone else that bands only come here once every two years. And then when they do, they only play arenas in capital cities and tickets and airfares are very expensive. D:
2)How did you get into fandom?
Hmmm. Fandom as a whole or this fandom as in bandom? I'd always been a big *fan* of things - re-reading Harry Potter a hundred times, owning every episode of Buffy on VHS - but it never occurred to me there might be more, until my friend directed me to MuggleNet. Even then I wasn't in the HP fandom as such, I just had fun browsing for fics and stuff. Google search, I actually googled for fic. *shakes head* Fandom on LJ was just surfing for information about Stargate Atlantis on the net and stumbling across
sga_noticeboard. That was my first "fandom" experience: having an OTP ship (and knowing what those words meant), re-capping and discussing the episodes, having fandom wide in-jokes. I'm really glad SGA was my first fandom experience, because it was a great one. Bandom I sort of fell into myself. I'd been listening to FOB for a while before I thought to even look up their names, and at that time LJ was my search engine. You can imagine the communities that popped up when I searched for Fall Out Boy. :P I was very wary of RPS in the beginning, having only been in FPS fandoms before, but that soon fell to the wayside, what with all the picspams beginning with "This is Pete. He loves Patrick. Let me show you how!" and all. *laughs* From then it spread to all the other bands, and here we are today. Man, that was long.
3)If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would they be?
Barack Obama, Patrick Stump and Isobelle Carmody. Obama because he actually got me interested in politics, which is a huge achievement in of itself, and also because I think he's just a pretty cool guy, Presidentialness aside. (Shut up, that's a word.)
Patrick because *Patrick*! I would sit him down and make him talk to me about how he comes up with the music he does, what's it really like living on a tour bus with Pete Wentz, and if he realises just how goddamn adorable he is. I would also make him watch Never Mind The Buzzcocks with me, and then have him promise to go on it next time he's in England. :D
Isobelle Carmody is an Australian author I love, and I'm currently re-reading her Obernewtyn Chronicles series for the hundreth time. I would have dinner with her to ask her WHEN IS SHE GOING TO FINISH THE GODDAMN SERIES?? The first book came out in 1987 for crying out loud! *tears hair*
4)Who was your first crush?
Brydan Leeson, fourth grade. I made him a Christmas card that year, and when I gave it to him, he took it, looked at it, then dropped it and walked away. Little twerp. All the girls in our grade though had crushes on his older brother, Dane. He was in grade seven, and soooo cute. *twirkls hair* When he manned the sports equipment room, we would all rush to book out basketballs and stuff just to talk to him.
5)Do you believe in God?
Hmm, tough question. I guess so. Not really in the Christian sense of the world, but I do believe there's a higher power out in the universe somewhere. Don't ask me what it is, though.
Memes are fun!
