1. I think we're all a little overinvested, to be honest.

2. I've read Naruto up to something like the 27th volume. Does that count? It was ages ago, though. I was shipping Naruto/Sasuke, too - it's just so obvious!

1. Baaaaaaabyyyyy! *anxious*

2. I guess it counts! I haven't read any of the manga, I've just seen the show, and only a few episodes of that. So there isn't really anything obvious yet, but I still think that Sasuke and Naruto are better suited than Sakura's obvious crush on Naruto. But I've no idea how any of it ends up, so I'll just keep watching I suppose!

2. Well, yeah. Why go for the obvious gen when there is slashy subtext?

You know, I've been having a similar conversation with a friend, as to why I slash. If you don't mind me asking, is there any particular reason that you choose to follow/ship/see a slash pairing, rather than a gen/het storyline? Other than the fact that our boys are very pretty, and helpfully touch each other a lot, of course. :)

I love anime! I'm still waiting for Holly or Luke to lend me Naruto sadly. Be careful if you go looking for fic though; anime/manga fandom tends to get a lot of badfic. You should try Death Note!

That's a fic site I take it? *notes down* As I said, I'm not at the stage where I'm actively seeking it out, but if a few more episodes don't not convince me they're in love, I think I might have a squiz!

No, no, Death Note's another anime/manga. You should see if Hippie's got it, it's awesome. Hee, anime is ridiculously slashy. It's all the feminine boys.

Oh, I see. I shall ask him then!

(P.S: Please tell Jay that I'm working on a reply, okay? ♥)

1. We're all a little overinvested. It's to be expected! Babyyyy.

2. Oh, I used to love anime. I read the Naruto manga more than I watched the anime, though, and I wasn't a huge fan of Bleach. And, ahaha, you're not SUPPOSED to turn the slash goggles off for most anime. Half the time it's intentional. ;) I haven't read Naruto fic in aaages, though. I'll see what I can dig up.

3. One extra copy, actually! They phrased it rather poorly in the description (and I didn't help, whoops), but what they meant was that you get two copies TOTAL with your order.

1. I just want piiiiiictures! And gushy Pete blogs about how much he adores the baby. He is going to be the proudest father in the world, oh gosh.

2. I like Bleach okay, but I definitely prefer Naruto, both storyline-wise and animation-wise. And hahaha, phew, good to know! There actually hasn't been anything obvious between them, I was just watching, and thought Huh, it would be a lot more interesting if Naruto was upset because he thought Sasuke was dead, not Sakura...

3. Oh, okay! *edits* Yeah, no, just from the description I thought it meant two as well. Oh well, lucky no one has asked for a copy yet!

1. If he blogs this much about all his little baby bands, just think about what the blog posts about his miniature headbanger will be like!

2. Ohhh, just you wait. Just you wait. (I also kind of ship Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura as a committed threesome. Because they are all in love with each other, obvz.)

2. And honestly, is there anything better than poly fic? :)

1. I'm trying very hard not to be overinvested. I'm only checking truefobinglove every half hour, honest. /o\

3. *waves hand?* But you totally don't have to give it to me, as I am far away and postage is insane. It's just that I keep downloading it and not listening to it, and I feel like a physical copy would fix that. *srs nod*

I've watched a few seasons of Bleach, but shows/manga that are as long as those tend to eventually lose my interest because they don't go fast enough. I just couldn't get into Naruto. Though, that's not entirely true - I lost my heart to Shaman King while I was living in Japan. That series starts a bit slow but gets amazing pretty quickly.

Oh god, they move so slowly! In Bleach, they've been in the same fight for four episodes now! *tears hair out* Naruto moves a bit quicker, I think, and I'm quite enjoying it. Shaman King - worth getting my bf to download it then?

I've not seen past episode five or so, but I read 29 volumes of the manga and never had a regret~! I even cried over it. Ohhh, so much love. Yeah, I'd say if the show is anything like the books, it'd be one epic treat.

'Though, you know... I've been getting into anime again of late, and last night I discovered THE BEST THING! ::whimpers:: BEST. Have a look at Kyou Kara Maoh... it's seriously a shining example of its genre (ordinary school kid spirited away to lead a magical land). I expected to be cute and a little bit gay, but I didn't know it was going to be so intelligent and hilarious and interesting! Please say you'll try it out! :D

Good to know!

imeem doesn't work for me, but the wiki of it looks interesting! I'll note it down and mention it to Hippie to download, definitely. Thank you! :D
