So tonight Mum and I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which was great, and the ending sets up so nicely for a third movie! I don't know if there is one planned, but I sooooo hope so

I hate missing the trailers too! I feel the same way about Northern Lights The Golden Compass. It was a really good film, but it's only if you've read the books you fully appreciate the horror of being severed from your daemon. I was nearly crying when they had Pan and Lyra in the machine.

Oh, that was an awful moment. And my friend didn't get why Lyra fainted when the scientists grabbed Pan - Touching! Another person's daemon! - and was like: "Did they inject her with something?" and I just shook my head and said I'd explain afterwards. I did think it was a very good movie though, as far as book adaptions go. I'm going to borrow out the books again and re-read them, too. I read them in high school, and it's brought all my memories back.
