 This is an entry I've been meaning to make for quite some time.

It's for a little, addictive thing I like to call; reviews.

I will be using examples from my own stories, just to give you an idea, but I want to address what makes me angry about the entire reviewing system.

I've actually read that first awful fic that you mentioned. Honestly, I think that fic was written to be that bad. Because, really, I don't think anyone would write a serious fic like that

Honestly, I understand where people are coming from when they ask for reviews. Demanding/begging is pathetic, but I personally find it disheartening when no one reviews. But people should be creative when they leave reviews, not just like "OMG OMG I LUVVS IT" or something like that. It's more encouraging to recieve one review that's only bad grammar but a nice message than no reviews at all, so take your pick.

Besides, Emma, you're guaranteed reviews, while some of us get hardly any hits at all. *hint,hint*

I dislike review beggers myself. I won't review if people beg, and I refuse to even read stuff that says "i will update again when I get ___ hits

I completely agree with what you're saying here. I mean, a review is perfect if it is an honest compliment, suggestion, constructive criticism, or something, but when they're pointless it bugs me. Seriously, one review I had just said "gd fic". Not kidding. Cause cutting out two letters saves so much time
