Ok...well...today was a momentous day. Tommy asked me to marry him. And of course, I said yes. I'm so happy, and so excited, and so very much in love. Seeing what today is I just wanted to post a little something to honor all the men and women of the fire departments. This poem is posted somewhere in all Arlington County Fire Houses. I'd read it numerous times at work and it always stuck with me. I think it's really beautiful and touching. I got a copy from Anna's journal since she too posted ( Read more... )
