My car got stuck in the parking lot at school this afternoon.  As if 9 hours wasn't enough time to be at work, I had to spend an additional 30 minutes digging snow and throwing down cat litter and rock salt to provide a bit of traction.  I think what was even more aggravating than my car simply not moving in the 3 inches of wimpy powdery snow was ( Read more... )

 My school was on the radio and on channel 2 news today because the music teacher had the 6th graders write and perform a rap song for the troops overseas.  Check out the interview that WBEN did.  It includes clips of the songs.  The sound quality isn't amazing at the beginning but it gets better at the end when you can actually hear the kids sing.

I'm so hot.  Not hott, just plain old hot.  This apartment is the most ridiculous climate controlled place I've ever been in, and that's including my parents' house where it's perpetually 57 degrees.  It's only a bearable temperature in here during the months of May, September and October and that's if I'm lucky.  Summer is insane because this ( Read more... )
