Okay, for those who don't know, I am a fanfic writer, who's writing a series (still unnamed and yet to be posted) of stories, based on the Cullen family's lives post Breaking Dawn. For the most part, this series will focus on Jacob and Renesmee, and how they go from being friends to a romantic couple. This is going to be a LONG series, perhaps a ( Read more... )

Sounds like an epic story arc.

I always find stories in which Nessie can't bear children strange - i know hybrids are sterile, but then the werewolves are "hybrids" themselves (half human, half wolves) and they are still fertile, so that's why i think Nessie could have kids too.

I think your name choices are really fitting. I wouldn't like "trendy" names for their children either, because they come from families with rather traditional names. And because they're so close to their families i always assumed they would name their children after their parents or grandparents - Marie, Anthony, Masen, William (Billy), Sarah or Charles (Charlie).

Stupid me... you mean their grandchildren, but for them i would still suggest traditional names, naming them after theri family or friends or using completely new names:
Kathrine, Emily, Rachel, Samuel (Sam), Evan, Bradley...
oh i could go on forever with this list.

Mostly I'm trying to use variations of names of their family members, like Emmeline (for Emmett), Alison/Allison/Alyson, Alyssa (for Alice), etc. Really, I've changed the names/identities of the grandchildren so many times, it's not even funny. So far, only two are set in stone, when my original plan was for at least seven.

I can't help but wonder if SM would still have Jacob imprint on Nessie if Nessie were unable to have children ( ... )
