I had not heard that last quote (definitely have heard the first one though!) and it's pretty interesting, that they accept that perhaps he's come in a little, is heading towards some kind of safety..
Yeah, I remember when all the interviews people asked "what's the deal with House?" And Hugh would reply "His heart's broken, and that doesn't even begin to explain it all." (paraphrased), so I suppose that mending his heart is a very concrete way of pulling him back from the edge.
(Hi!!!! *waves excitedly* How's youse doing?? How cold is it there right now? I had a whole month and change of not needing to wear a jacket when I got back ;-P)
I've only managed to watch two episodes of House this season: 7.01, which drove me nuts with how nice and cuddly House was being, and put me off the rest of the season; and the one where House and Wilson had to watch Cuddy's baby, which I totally enjoyed, for obvious reasons! But you're saying the rest is worth watching too? Should I put it in the queue?
I can barely barely keep up with the three shows I am following...Merlin, 'cause I can watch it with my kids; SPN, because I just have to know what happens; and H50, because it just makes me happy. Fringe seems to have fallen by the wayside...
Well, with House one thing I'd forgotten (how long since the whole Stacy storyline? sooo long!!) is how he really, really throws himself body and soul the moment he decides he's "in" a relationship, which is also why he doesn't date casually (besides every other issue he has): he just can't. It's either total, undying love or keeping at arms' length, so seeing him going cuddly initially threw me as well but then it makes sense.
I know! keeping up with shows is hard, man! I only admire you for managing to do it on top of your kids and the job!
