Hi Annie, I wanted to support you in your written contribution. Nice happy family AU, with all of the Cascade characters in it, or at least mentioned. Joe was a cute kid, I like how you used the way that Jim and Carolyn referred to him - Joe and Joseph - to delineate their relationships with their son. Blair's double-major background was an interesting twist, and it allowed you to develop the Sentinel/Guide aspect of Jim and Blair's relationship. I like how you wove a lot of canon scenes into your story, and how supportive Simon was, too. Jim's dad was more of an SOB than the series portrayed him as, but then again, we don't even meet William until season 3, so maybe three years down the line, he'll have mellowed out some. I'm echoing everyone in saying it, but a really enjoyable, easy read.

I did write William as an SOB mainly based on what Jim tells Blair about him before we actually meet him and what Jim and Steven say about him in My Brother's Keeper. I was actually a little surprised when we finally met William in Remembrance that he wasn't quite as awful as Jim and Steven had made him sound LOL
