Annie, this was an excellent story. I really loved all of the characters, especially the evil Carolyn. YOu know how I love to hate her, but even she came around. As I said before, little Joe is absolutely precious and I enjoyed the family life they built and had. It was great. I'm so glad you wrote this. I've been waiting 'like' forever for it. Thank you. Lovely story - & to think I always say I don't usually like kidfics! There seem to be so many good ones around now, that I've changed my mind! This was a really nice, gentle read, just what I needed today thank you
