Izaya knowing about obscure mythology...he's read up a lot. Mythology was something I was interested in as a little kid (and still is), too, though I guess, with mythological creatures really existing in durarara, Izaya has more fun.

Izaya's talk with Shiki reminds me how Izaya's just a kid, somehow. A smart and cruel kid who wants to see things beaten flat, but still. I wonder if Shiki considers he's 'babysitting' Izaya?
