Mika was now sure of this.
This woman was about to disfigure Mika's face.
Though Mika was aware of it, it did nothing to change the fact that she couldn't move an inch.
"Please have the decency to at least show that you're scared. It's pertinent to my interests to see that 'face' distorted by fear."
Namie waited for a few seconds with the bottle of chemical in her hand. However, Mika did not scream or plead for forgiveness.
Namie began to unscrew the bottle with a sigh.
"......Is there anything you want to say while you still have that face?"
It was hard to tell if Namie said this out of pity or a mere desire to confirm her advantageous position.
Whichever it was -
It elicited a response from Harima Mika that nauseated her.
"Kantan no Yume......is an idiom that stands for the vicissitudes of this world......"
"......Huh?"
Namie frowned and stopped dead in her tracks involuntarily at Mika's sudden digression.
Mika replied with a relaxed smile that matched the state of her muscles after the relaxant had been used on her and spoke slowly.
"When I first......stepped into this building, you said that to me......so I was thinking......maybe you didn't know what Kantan no Yume actually meant......but......I know things too......a lot of things......actually."
"......? Is that what you really want to say for your last words?"
Namie saw it coming. Or thought she did.
She had tried to convince herself the sudden "iciness" that took over her insides was a mere delusion.
But she knew she was wrong as soon as Mika muttered her next words.
"Kanra is...Orihara Izaya."

For a moment Namie was at a loss as to what the other person had just said.
Kanra was the handle that her employer, Izaya, used in a certain chatroom.
- Why did she suddenly mention this......?
She paused to think.

- How did this little cat......know about Izaya's chatroom?
- How did she even know Izaya to begin with?
"Taro is......Ryuugamine-kun."

"Setton is......Celty-san. Saika is......Anri-chan. Bakyura is.....Kida-kun. Mai and Kyo are Orihara Izaya's sisters, Mairu and Kururi."

A definite feeling of iciness ran down Namie's spine as Mika continued to talk slowly with a soft smile on her face.
"Orihara Izaya and you, my sister-in-law......you use the handle 'Nakura' when you trick people."

"Ryuugamine-kun is......the founder of Dollars......Anri-chan hosts the demon blade called Saika in her body......Kida-kun is the leader of Yellow Turbans. But they probably don't know each other's true identity."
Though she had every impulse to stop Mika, Namie could not move.
Whether out of instinct or curiosity or sheer fear -
"Anri-chan was attacked and hurt......yesterday and the day before yesterday......by the Russian duo......Vorona and Slon......meaning crow and elephant in Russian......it was Orihara Izaya who asked them to do it......"

Before the question was answered, Namie's body went more and more tense.

"Slon......has closer ties to Orihara Izaya......than Vorona. That's why.....Izaya heard from Slon the job Awakusu-kai had given them......and set up a trap to frame Heiwajima Shizuo-san. Then in the evening......he was sent to the hospital after someone stabbed him......"

The last piece of information was one Namie had only heard this morning herself. None of all this information Mika should have had any access to, yet -

"The......usual way. You know how tapping devices these days......are really really cheap......and really really tiny too......? So I......just......decided to put them on everyone......that might have something to do with Seiji. Also I did a pretty decent amount of hacking......so I came to know a lot of things......"

"Only Orihara Izaya......realized right away that his place had been tapped......but if it's only phone calls.....you'll just have to tap one of the two phones that are part of them......how about I tell you something about someone other than yourself and Orihara Izaya? Like how Mikado-kun......used a ballpoint pen this evening to......"

Still unable to stomach the sudden twist of reality, Namie remained immobile.
"How does it make you feel......? I haven't said everything yet......Izaya-san and you have ties not only to Awakusu-kai, but to Asuki Group and other organizations as well......"

Seiji-san may seem blunt on the surface......but he really is a gentleman......like that time when he saved me and Anri-chan from the delinquents."
