I asked for your top ten favorite Jack/Sam plot cliches a while ago, pledging a sort of cliche ficathon/challenge type thing. My real big kink is "first time fic" (as in THEIR first time, not that they're virgins or anything). Established relationships are great, but I love seeing how they get there. And then there's this whole cliche-filled subcategory thing...

I can't believe I forgot 'first time'! Curses. Oh well, a lot of these cliches lead right into first time. lol. Yeah, how they get their shit together has long been a favorite kink of mine.

Well, I figure there is a good reason these are cliches, because we love them! :) We all have our cliche kinks. The trick is trying to write a cliche in an unpredictable manner, but boy is that a challenge.

*nodnod* but that's fun too! it's always fun to surprise people or show people who normally hate a cliches "oh hey look it doesn't have to suck" and stuff.

one of the fics I've done that I like the most took one of the more bizarre fanfic things and tried to deal with it in a serious manner. think I did pretty well with that one actually :) (was elizabeth/john. dunno if that's your thing)

but this list and then the Kink/Cliche-a-thon-thing svmadlyn is running I have half a dozen sam/jack plot bunnies

I'm deeply amused by how many of these are canon in the SG1 universe. The Daniel/Vala fans alone could get a game of cliche bingo on.
