See, now I know you love me because you finished posting this tonight before I leave tomorrow... yay!

What a wonderful ending -- you show how much Sam has grown, as well as Jack, and how strong they are as a couple. I love that Sam left it up to Lorne to decide about using the research, and that she's willing to erase the details in order to protect him. I love how Jack supports her, and can read her not only when she's doing poorly, but when she's getting better. He just understands her.

And Lorne! Poor Lorne... I like that you referenced how he's the only one who's seen Sam in action before, and even that didn't prepare him for their time in captivity. And he needs lots and lots of hugs... oh Lorne. I love that he looks past his own pain to see what's bothering Sam.

And the Jack/Sam flirting and camping on the mainland. Almost as good as time at the cabin ;)

Happy sighs all around! Another excellent fic by you... thanks for sharing!

Hehe. Perfect timing! I hope you are enjoying your trip. :)

I think Lorne needs a little hurt/comfort himself now, just a matter of deciding from who. ;)

Thanks so much for reading along with me.

I haven't left feedback since Part 1, but I've been following along. This turned out wonderful. I love how you've captured Sam's command from all the different points of view. The emotional toll on both Sam and Lorne was palpable. I mean, I know the whole fic was about it, but that heart of the story really pulled me in.

I like Jack's helplessness. It's a hard position for Jack to be in, and hard to see him in, but you've made it work perfectly within his personality and Sam's. I like his "outsider" perspective on Atlantis as well.

It was a very rich story on many different levels. Thank you so much for sharing it.

You're no longer angry that I made you read S/J? :P

I am very glad you enjoyed this. I had a lot of fun playing around with the Atlantis characters and suddenly I want to write a lot more about them!

Thanks!

S/J *Atlantis* fic. Your writing is so good, I "forgive" a lot. Hee.

But any lingering resentment would definitely be extinguished if you wrote another gen story. :-)

(Hey, a girl's gotta try.)

Well, I do have a Sam and Lorne friendship plot bunny hopping around my mind these days. ;)

Guh. Brain is mush from the sheer AWESOME of this fic. I love the dynamics between these two and between carter and her team in atlantis. I really love the attention you've given to her continuing to adjust to command (something the show didn't really touch on, which was too bad)

this is really, really great.

Thank you! Yeah, I would have loved to have seen a bit more about Sam's adjustment to Atlantis on the show, but I think the writers were very aware that many fans feared SGA becoming The Sam Show (which, wow, ridiculous. lol), that they really underutilized her. Well, this is my revenge. An entire SGA fic about Sam's command her relationship with Jack. Heheh.

Thanks for reading!

This was soooo wonderful. Now, I want to make sure I didn't miss a thing--is the "A Day Too Soon" the epilogue? Because when I clicked on the epilogue link, it took me to the top of chapter 5.

Yup, that's the epilogue. LJ was giving me major grief (as always) when I posted this. I'll try to fix that.

Thanks for reading along! :)

I just read the whole story, and it's amazing. I can tell it's one I'll keep thinking about over the next few days. Besides Sam and Jack, of course, I particularly liked your portrayal of Teyla.

Thank you! I have come to love Teyla more and more, so it great to hear that she feels right to you (This was really my first attempt with the Atlantis characters, so I was a little nervous). Thanks so much for reading! :)
