I have highlights (mostly travel), but even those I remember the year's wrong. My memory is really, really liquid. For good ( Read more... )

Hadn't seen it in a loooong time. Legend, Labyrinth, and the Dark Crystal pretty much sum up my childhood favs. They also ruined me for normal life. I want more faery kings, magic, and trolls in my life!

I would add Ladyhawke (starring Rutger Hauer and a very young Matthew Broderick) to that list. It's on telly today, which reminded me... :)

Well, considering I've seen maybe five movies, I think you've got a nice balance here :) Not everyone's a reading fanatic, hehe. You have some nice books there...I'm going to have to find some of them!

There's a statistic out there that states most Americans read 1 book a year. You're keeping up our national average with your 247. :D :D

Happy New Year and stuff! Well, in the next few hours, anyway.

And be proud of your book haul! I think I managed fewer this year. :p

And stuff!! This wasn't my best year on record (42), but it wasn't my worst either (27). My local library can be thanked for keeping good books in circulation.

I knew we were MFEO for a reason. ;) (Do you remember 'Pillow Book'? I think I'll watch it as my first movie of 2010 and think of Boston. Ha ha!)
