Thank you. I'm not even sure if they have French Toast in England or if they do, they don't call it something like Toasted Egg Pasty or whatever. I didn't want to ask because I was afraid I'd have to drop the joke if I found out the answer.

Sirius can be really fun to write.

I don't usually read drug-related fics, but this amused me, since any time I see/hear about a hookah, I think of Alice in Wonderland. Don't ask me why, I don't know!!! o_O

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the story. Hookahs always make me think of Alice in Wonderland, too. They've apparently become popular (just for tobacco smoking) in NYC and other places, lately, and all I can think about is that caterpillar.

"Homely" was a funny coincidence. I'm reading a guide in preparation for a trip there at the end of the month. It mentioned a "homely" hotel, which reminded me of the different British usage.
