Of course I love it whenever there's a new Mets fic, but this was EXCELLENT. The topic was something I've been wondering about for awhile now ((Mets would SO be a masochist if he ever got the chance)), and it's written so very well~!

Poor teen!Mets. :< He's just so saaaaad.

BUT THE END IS PERFECT! He finally got to feel a little bit of pain, and right when he's retiring!

Fffff thank yooooou! <3 (I need a more cheerful icon for this fandom, but I have this weird MY ICONS MUST BE UNIQUE thing that doesn't really work in a fandom as heavily capped as this one.) Yeah, I was half-thinking about writing MM fic, but then it became an order from the Colonel, and I mean you can't disobey one of those!

I always love young!Metz fics where he's angsty and thinks about stuff like this. And I really loved at the end when he had a blister, and he was all happy about it. Kind of made me go 'aww' a little. Finally got to feel a little bit.

Seriously, though, great work, great slant on an underrated character. I really enjoyed this look at the cons of growing up as a superman! And of course you know my weakness for Metro Man having a weakness for weaknesses. ;D
