1. Last night, between about 7:45 and 8:30, our electricity flickered several times, causing a momentary power cut/outage in our house each time. I was on my computer then, and each time the computer popped off then came back on again. I was watching TV (the E.R. finale) too and my ancient TV had to be turned on again each time. Losing power is no fun at all.

Power outages. Ugh.

You have my sympathy. My home had no power last summer for about 3 days. Its amazing how the hours stretch ahead with no TV or computer and only a book to keep you company.
