1. So Brett Favre is considering un-retiring? Geesh, and they say women can't make up their minds. Brett, stay home in Kiln. What are people supposed to do with all those $20 commemorative Sports Illustrateds that were sold when you retired less than a year ago, eh? Honestly. I can't even remember the name of the backup QB, who is finally, maybe, ( Read more... )

D'oh! That's Letterman, not Leno. Well, errr...Cookie's the musical guest on Leno tonight (it's a rerun, but still worth a watch!).

NO!!! I didn't watch Leno. We were watching Letterman. And then we, er, went to bed. But I know that was the performance from June 12th, right? Where he was outside and did the rocked-up MY HERO? Mmmm. Have watched it many times on YouTube. I'm sure it's on my favorites list.

It did make me feel better just last night. I think it's helping her a lot. Hope so, anyway :)

I had forgotten about Terminus. I may go up there for the day on Saturday. It'll get me all excited about the fandom again.

I was planning to go down on Saturday just to see some people at lunch. But with things the way they are now, I really can't afford it :(

1. I hear ya. Retired needs to go back to meaning retired, not hiatus. (My dad's a HUGE Packers fan, so we were talking about that yesterday.)

2. Good for both of you! It never fails to amaze me that most of us loathe the idea of exercise, when we usually feel so much better afterwards. Speaking of which, I'm slacking and really need to get moving again myself.

3. Portus and Terminus really did sneak up fast, didn't they? I was debating about going up that weekend just to visit family and make a few lunch dates with my Terminus people, but family ended up coming here instead , and it just makes more sense to stay put.

I've already made sort of a lunch date for Terminus, but I can no longer justify the expense of going 150 miles to Chicago for lunch and turning around and coming home (or else spending a day there and then staying overnight, which would be even more expensive). Eeep.
