1. So it turns out that Monte Montgomery won't be on Good Morning America (ABC) on Wednesday morning 7/19. Instead he'll be on the Great American Vacation segment on The Early Show on CBS, so he'll be on national TV sometime between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. US Central time. 2. Glad that you are on the mend. I still recommend hot tea laced with honey and Irish.

4. Hermione has been in that not-wanting-to-go-to-bed stage for almost a year now. Drives me absolutely batty.

2. No Irish whiskey in the house. Might have to just lace some hot tea with some lemon.

4. Maya now has a TV in her room (left over from when she used it for Nintendo 64). She tells me that when she can't sleep she turns it on and watches Everybody Loves Raymond, Becker, and Frasier. Well, at least it's not Big Brother or something like that.

Wow, I hope Maya managed to not get too cooked. Is Wisconsin taking part in the Nationwide Heat Wave this week?

I will be strangely amused if you're having more pleasant weather than San Diego right now. =)

We were part of the National Heat Wave through yesterday. Today was much nicer. When we have good weather here, it's close to perfect. Alas, that's not more than about 20 days a year ;)

My health is better than it's been in...a whole week :))

Maya was plenty tired tonight. Got her to sleep a tad after 9:30, which is early for lately.

I missed the BSG Preview!! :(

I thought what I saw of Eureka (about 90 minutes of it, scattered around) was okay. Interesting premise anyway.

I've kind of been watching Eureka. I've been flipping between that and The One on ABC (which so far has been just dreadful). I don't know about Eureka yet. It's.....not what I expected. It's more quirky (yet still kind of dark) than I thought it would be.

What was THE ONE? Didn't hear about that. We watch so much Sci Fi that Eureka has been on our "radar" for almost a month now. Hey, we like quirky and dark. TWIN PEAKS, anyone?

The One is ABC's pathetic attempt to get a piece of the American Idol phenomenom. But they didn't even come close. They actually market it different from AI in that all the contestants live together in this music "academy" during the course of the show.
