1. So it turns out that Monte Montgomery won't be on Good Morning America (ABC) on Wednesday morning 7/19. Instead he'll be on the Great American Vacation segment on The Early Show on CBS, so he'll be on national TV sometime between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. US Central time. If you're awake that early, watching TV, check him out. You might like what you ( Read more... )

*Laughing* I _loved_ that stayin'-up-later age! Then again, you're dealing with it from the other end.

I'm avoiding that show lest I get hooked on another one. Two on SciFi are enough for me for now. And they're not even airing currently!

Glad to hear you're beginning to think you might be almost there to feeling better. :-)

I bet you were one of those kids who drove his mom CRAZY by never going to bed, eh? :))

Both of my parents were frustrated that I didn't go right to sleep. I loved to read, and the flashlight-under-the-covers is only for drama in movies, batteries don't last. So I would sneak my light on to read and they'd come by and get mad.

My bedtime was extended to 10pm after I was in Jr. High, and it was such a big deal for me that Dad would let me watch Simon & Simon with him on Thursdays.

You going to record 2 hours of The Early Show?
I'm watching Eureka also. It seems to fig the genre of Northwest weird. The scientific apparatus seems like something out of 50's movies. (she says having lived through teh 50's.

Speaking of Northwest Quirky, I told Mr. Annearchy that if Twin Peaks were being broadcast now, it would definitely be on Sci Fi instead of one of the "major" networks, which tend to shy away from "niche" shows now.

Er, yes, I'm going to tape 2 hours of the Early Show. But I'll be watching live from 7:00 to 8:00 and can stop the tape if he's on during that hour :D

You might catch the act. I notice on Good Morning America locally they run the 2nd hour first and then the opening hour next. When I watch on Satellite the hard news hour comes first and the section with the performances is in the last half hour of the second hour. That doesn't mean CBS does it the same way.
Hope you catch your beloved Monte. I will watch CBS tomorrow for a change.

At first we (the Monte fans) were told he would be on Good Morning America. Today we learned it will be The Early Show instead. Doesn't matter to me. I never bother to watch either unless there's someone SPECIAL on :D

I'll try to watch for Monte tomorrow morning. :)

You need a hot toddy, or at least a hot drink to help what ails you.

I watched Eureka. It was okay, but I'm still undecided. I'll probably watch it again to see if it can grab my interest.

Crystal Lake campground - Camp Crystal Lake? *screams* Sorry, I've seen way too many horror films.

The bedtime battle is a major pain for a parent. Major Payne? Maybe that approach would work. :P Sorry, I must have movies on the brain tonight. I wish I could say the bedtime issue gets easier as they get older. *pets you* Surely Maya will get a good night's sleep with all that physical activity today.

I'll be watching until 8:00 a.m. (when I usually leave for work) but I'll get the whole 2 hours on tape in case he's not been on when I have to leave. His sister told me he had to go down to the site where he'll be performing by 6:00 a.m. today. Hey, national exposure. He'll be there :D
