Mmm...Shiner--a beer that's actually from Texas. And damn good, too. It's fairly cheap around here: you'd pay half or that $3.75 for a bottle in Houston. But then, Shiner isn't that far from here, either.

I voted for the clam mousse because I like organ meats and, having had cooked brains and tongue, would not in the least object to having them again. Especially if cooked properly. On the other hand, I really don't like shellfish.

You can keep the organ meats. I can tolerate liver sometimes but I'll skip the brains. Actually I'm not sure anyone is even allowed to sell cow brains in the States anymore, with all the worry about Mad Cow Disease.

You can't get Shiner up here and I was so jealous that you can get it over there. It's good beer. :) Though, that's an insane price for it.
