She lives...

Yes, I am still alive. I've managed to survive my week of vacation. We've been pretty busy the past 3 days. It rained hard on Wednesday AND Thursday mornings, so we slept in and didn't do anything until the afternoon. On Wednesday Maya and I played mini-golf, then we bought a bucket of golf balls, borrowed some ancient wedges and hit golf balls on ( Read more... )

Whatever you do, if you think Christian Bale is hot, DO NOT see American Psycho. Although it's a great movie, the only thing I think about when I see Christian Bale is him running around in his tighty-whities with a chainsaw extolling the virtues of Huey Lewis and the News. *headdesk*

Okay... I'd heard about that book and didn't really want to see the movie. I think I'll forget to rent it :))

:D

Gotta love Christian Bale... That guy, he earned my heart when he played Laurie in Little Women... oh poor thing! I still cry whenever I watch it, and always, Lauire/Jo has reminded me of H/Hr... sadly slayed without reasoning by their authors...

*sigh*

Anyhoo, see above, the username's gilly_halliwell :D

Perhaps I should rent that? I really don't want to see American Psycho.

Ah, yes...Mr. Bale. :D I loved that movie and him very much, but Cillian Murphy's eyes were teh...well, goodness. I could fall in and drown happy. He and his eyes can also be seen in 28 Days Later and Girl With a Pearl Earring.

Loved the Tilt-a-Whirl yell. Twirling...um right.

Hopefully, well have some birthday pics like before, only this time I guess it'll be from Down Under.

Cillian Murphy does have amazing blue eyes :) He's almost a bit too pretty, don't you think? Hmmm. If he were taller (I read that he's only 5 feet 9) he could be a male model.

I would be happy for birthday pics from down under. I mean, Australia. Right. You knew that.

I was quite excited to see a non-HP post from someone, I can totally relate to being all Harry-pottered out! I have to agree that Batman Begins rocked! I thought it was the best Batman movie, hands down. And Christian Bale is not-only the best played, but also hottest Batman ever! Yum! Thanks for the nice picture by the way.

As chocfrgs4brkfst pointed out, I did also swoon over Cillian Murphy's eyes! *drool* I couldn't beleive it was the same guy from 28 Days Later, I probably would not have believed it had I not looked it up on IMDB! And may I add that I had no idea who the "Bad guy" was in this movie going in, and as soon as they introduced him as Dr. Crane I just about flipped ( ... )

Definitely the best Batman movie ever. I've seen all the others, loved the first, thought the two other sequels were increasinly less good (if that makes sense). This Batman was NOT a cartoon character. He seemed like a real person with some complicated demons to work out. The writers gave him a really mythical backstory, and frankly there was one twist I really never saw coming...:-O Great movie. Mr. Annearchy thought the romance bit seemed tacked on; I kind of agree. *shrugs*

Yay, you get a night off!

Haven't seen "Batman Begins" yet...I have a soft spot for Michael Keaton in the role, so I haven't watched any of the others. (Although Bale isn't half bad...maybe a little too chiseled for me, but not bad at all...)

What's new with me is I'm playing with starting an original novel and debating whether to lift some concepts from my HP fanfic to use there. And whether to just take down the fanfic in question and email a nice summary to the half-dozen people who were actually reading it.

I've got a fan fic up on FA that I got only 4 chapters into before I decided it was just too much (I obviously had not thought things through when I started it). I might take that one down myself. I haven't written a word on it in 18 months and I'm sure I won't now. But maybe I can use some of those ideas for something original too. And no, I'm not just copying you :))
