She lives...
Yes, I am still alive. I've managed to survive my week of vacation. We've been pretty busy the past 3 days. It rained hard on Wednesday AND Thursday mornings, so we slept in and didn't do anything until the afternoon. On Wednesday Maya and I played mini-golf, then we bought a bucket of golf balls, borrowed some ancient wedges and hit golf balls on the driving range. I hadn't played golf in 23470724 years so I'd forgotten how to grip the golf club *headdesk* so I ended up stabbing the inside of my right wrist with my left thumbnail. So now I kinda look like I'd been cutting myself :( Yesterday Maya had a 3-hour nap from 11 until 2 (her sleep schedule is wrecked this week), so we just went to the mall and did a bit of shopping yesterday. Today she got up at 10:30 (relatively early for her this week) and we went to the County Fair this afternoon. If I'd known it was going to cost close to $50 for the 2 of us, I would have taken more money out of the credit union today. Mreh. Well, we had a good time, and we went on the Tilt-A-Whirl 3 times. On the last time, whenever the car spun really fast, we would yell APPPARATING??!...LOL. At 5:30 I took her to E's house, where she is spending the night. I'm glad Maya and E have fun together; Maya is a highly extroverted only child, so it's good that she's made several friends in the past year.
So, after a quick dinner tonight, Mr. Annearchy and I went to see BATMAN BEGINS. That was a great movie, with a fantastic cast and amazing special effects. What a blast watching Gary Oldman play someone, well, normal in this movie :) And now I have a new hunka hunka burning lust interest:
Christian Bale...*drools"...What's not to love? Well, he could use a bit of chest hair (my preference) but dayum, the face, the body, mmmm and he's way over 21. So yaaay :)
So...what's new with y'all? I'm about Harry Pottered-out right now and I'm sure many of y'all are too. I did enjoy the lovely new photos from Goblet of Fire. Isn't someone in the cast having a birthday soon?? :)
