I was hoping we could go to Wisconsin Dells today. Mr. Annearchy said he could actually take time off his business today (A DAY OFF!!!) but now it looks like we might not be able to go anywhere anyway :( Thursday is his book-buying day so I was planning to take Maya to the county fair. I hope the weather improves by then. Maybe we can go to the Dells or mini-golf on Friday.

I've been to Little A-Merrick-A. My cousin and I went when we were about 16. We still laugh about it when we drive by.

Odd place to consider having a discussion of politics!

Wasn't that bizarre?? I should have said, "WTF business is this of yours?" But then I decided to be polite and maybe make him realize nicely that, hey, it WAS none of his business.

Glad you and Maya are having such fun on your vacation. The Tilt-a-Whirl has always been a favorite of mine.

Not sure about the conversation...that's just plain odd.

I suppose you could have asked "Why do you want to know?"
Maybe he was flirting with you in an awkward sort of way.
I would have thought when you told him where you were from he would immediately know what your part affiliation is.

Yeah, that's kind of why I think he was asking, he figured (name of city) = Democrat. Why do only weird old guys flirt with me? Honestly, that's been my problem since I was a teenager. *shrugs* Amazing that I managed to find Mr. Annearchy, that's for sure.
