Watched the PBS program on the Freedom Rides last night. Made me even more excited for the OUDC trip. -

I just accepted a job as a trip leader for the Operation Understanding DC Summer Journey. OUDC is an organization that brings Black and Jewish high school students together for a year of weekend programs and a month-long summer civil rights trip. I had dinner with him once as part of a group I did in high school (OUDC). He's probably the most inspiring person I've ever met (and I shook hands with Senator Obama once...). -
