I’ve just read a very interesting article in the German “Spiegel”. It says that at present there are 1.9 kids per woman in France, 1.7 in the UK but only 1.3 in Germany. i have a meeting with the Director of our division tomorrow and i have been asked to think of any issues that i may wish to raise. problem is, since i started working directly under General Manager, i don't have any issues. i need to find an issue by 10.30am tomorrow because otherwise he will think i don't give a damn!

i'm resending the piccies from York. last time it was impossible to view them, but now it should be ok. i'm reposting the entry because the photos themselves wouldn't make sense, just like the entry without them didn't.
