I’ve just read a very interesting article in the German “Spiegel”. It says that at present there are 1.9 kids per woman in France, 1.7 in the UK but only 1.3 in Germany. In a few years time they will have a serious problem. Well, not only them. What is wrong with people? I wouldn’t mind having a kid now. If I had a husband, I would just go for it.

Why would we need more children? The world already is overpopulated.

because a balanced society needs a more less equal number of people representing each age group in order to go on and, more importantly, it must be an incredible feeling to have a baby with the person you love.

i see what you mean though. if i lived in Poland i wouldn't like to have kids at all. i wouldn't even like to have a partner for that matter. God, i don't know if i would like to stay alive if i had to live there.
