Great list! But I have to give a personal honorable mention to I Get a Sidekick Out of You. ah. i decided a while ago that the show doesn't exist to me anymore past "balalaikas," so in my mind none of those episodes ever happened.

"Because I love you, you idiot," also makes me grin a ridiculous amount, despite how much I hate post-S1 Dean. I'm totally with you on how awesome season 1 was; it's pretty near perfection. I'm pretty sure Rory's Dance is my favorite episode, too, although it's been awhile since I've seen the earlier stuff, so I don't have a definitive list. It's definitely up there, though, along with Love, Daisies, and Troubadours. Raincoats and Recipes would totally be number 1 if all it had was the Luke/Lorelai interaction, but the Dean stuff unfortunately knocks it down.

Now I want to watch some early Gilmore Girls! It's been at least a year since I've watched an episode.

Also, are you still planning on posting a Notorious picpsam? Because I thought I remembered you mentioning that in a post before, and I just watched that movie for the first time a few weeks ago and it's now one of my favorite movies ever, so I'd totally love to see a picspam of it!

oh i know! i hate dean so much after season one, but he started off so dreamy, and that episode and that line is just so ridiculously cute.

yeah, before i watched "raincoats and recipes" again this time, i was thinking it would be way up top on the list... but then dean showed up. i mean, i think the ending of that episode is perfect and i love it, but i guess i just don't like watching them get there.

ooh notorious! i had to take it back to the library before i could finish making caps, but i'll get it back again sometime. (i have to borrow it from the library because the DVD is so frickin' expensive.) i'm so happy you love it! i had my dad watch it with me recently and he wasn't too impressed, and that really upset me.
