Heeee, my perceptions on True Blood might be seriously skewed by having been told the exact same things about those two shows, I feel weird about liking it more! B-But I do. I was in the mood for sort of violent, scary vampires, though, so that could also have affected it. But it is good fun!

Oh god, M, rewatching it is making me crazy nostalgic/hungry for fic. And not even just S3 fic, I want all the fic that got brainstormed and then forgotten. (Remember that time Ryan and Pam went to Thailand together? Augh, plus last night I watched Phyllis' wedding and now I want to all the Roy/Pam in the worllllld. IN THE WORLD.)

Haha, yeah, Bill and Sookie are not my favorite parts. Though I had heard they blew chunks, and with those expectations going in, it turns out they don't seem so bad? Hee, so I don't actually mind them, is what I'm saying. But I LOVE the premise about the True Blood and the vampire rights movement and stuff (lol) and I really like how terrifying their vampires sometimes are.

Awww, your Selena/TSwift shipping is my favorite! And weirdly plausible, given the two of them.

OH MAN. Dick Winters as a vampire... I don't know if I can even picture it. IT WOULD BE PRETTY AMAZING, THOUGH. And Nick/Nix with Nix a vampire would make it a pairing that might even make SENSE.

HAHAHA! I was just saying this weekend that I totally wanted to write badfic to Pussycat Doll's "Wait a Minute". Oh, God. The shame.

My only suggestion is to pick older songs that have sunk into our subconsciousness of shame (that were really popular and are generally acknowledged to be guilty secrets) Viva La Vida, anyone? Anything by ABBA, Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez automatically trumps.

Heeee, GOOD TIMING! The summer just makes you want to write bad fic to questionable music, it happens to all of us.

Good call on older stuff! Oh God, I love Viva La Vida, it's so sad. I could write some FIC to that sucker. Not to mention some Taylor Swift. Hee, I shouldn't even call it guilty pleasure songs, I don't feel guilty about any of that.

The good thing about True Blood is it gets BETTER especially as you get more Eric and Pam in the second season. I do love the Southern aspect as I have limited knowledge of it so it's interesting to learn more about it, if only a little.

I actually heard The Vampire Diaries pilot sucked but the show got much better later in the season but I haven't been able to go back so I have no idea when.

I am hearing that VD got a lot better, so I think I'm going to push through, but wow, that pilot was BORING, I couldn't even believe it.

IDK what this is you have heard about True Blood being terrible, because it is AWESOME and SO NOT TERRIBLE. Clearly the person who told you that only saw the boring Bill/Sookie and not Sam and Tara and all the other amazing characters.

Haha, the funny thing is that I have no idea where I heard that! Just -- around! I guess? But I am super, super enjoying it, which is actually helped by having low expectations so I guess I don't even mind. Tara is SO AWESOME, she's totally my #1 favorite, closely followed by Sam. I WAS SO PSYCHED WHEN THEY SLEPT TOGETHER. (Haha, I'm on, like, episode 8. Don't tell me if something horrible happens later!)
