I haven’t really discussed anything I’m watching lately, so let’s see how I do.
After talking about the Marvel ‘verse shakeup in the Cap movie with a couple of flisters, I pulled up the last three new episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on-demand and feel I’m now caught up enough to jump back in and watch to the end of the season. I do think they

Thanks for reminding me of Warehouse 13. I'd completely forgotten that they got a chance to wrap things up.

That would make her like an X-Men mutant. I guess that could be something, but, honestly, I just think the male showrunners lurve her and assume everyone else should too, just 'cuz.

It pisses me off that SyFy wouldn't give them a full 12 or 13 episode final season, but I guess we're lucky to get the six.

Did like the season ending of Justified. I think you are right about it ending up in Harlin like it started in the first season.
Am also looking forward to Fargo. I have it recorded and intend to watch it asap.
I still enjoy Person of Interest. And I am enjoying the Blacklist though know it isn't your
favorite. Like that Spader's character even when
being tortured always seems in control and he is not afraid of getting his hands dirty when he doles out vengeance or protection.
There are others but that's all I can comment on now.

Yeah, I'm excited. We're going to try and watch live, but jeez, the premiere episode goes from 10-11:37!

Oh, dear, does he get tortured a lot? LOL! I love James Spader, I wish I liked the series more for him if nothing else.

Good to know!
I was really surprised to see such an emphasis on it as it's only mentioned after the fact in the books - no in yer face stuff at all. I think it's the showrunners rather than GRRM who are driving it on the show.
That's what I heard after asking around, and so I have to wonder why the relentless attention paid to it on screen? I'm not so sure GRRM isn't part of the reason, though - I thought he was pretty hands on with the tv series. Maybe he's getting on screen what he was a little too timid to put in the books?
What is true to the book, however, is the relentless fear, terror and general awfulness of life. You're absolutely right about that, and maybe that's another part of the reason I'm losing interest - because it's just so emotionally draining with little to no upbeat moments to balance it out ( ... )
